Useage: Rapid melting of small sample chips into a button suitable for spectrographic analysis. Metal drillings, chips, wire, etc. can be placed in a crucible and melt with a high DC current, under Argon, to form a suitable button for analysis. Tests have shown exceptional reproducibility between buttons of the same material with minimal losses of alloying elements.
Furnace installed on a mobile frame with wheels.
Machine is not under power; machine is available for inspection.
