Functionality Notes & History: MD Equipment Services (MDES) originally sold this brake to the previous owner in 2015, a fabrication shop owner in Beaverton, OR. The unit came out of a shop in Redmond, OR; unit was completely functional. MDES sold the tooling separate to a different party. The Beaverton owner replaced the motor with a new unit at a total cost of $3,000 for motor and belt. He used the brake for almost 8 years before moving to a new shop and selling to the present owner. The current owner has the unit installed in a warehouse in Salem, OR. He is retiring and liquidating equipment in his shop; would like to resell unit. The brake is connected and available for inspection and test.
