Functionality Notes: MD Equipment Services (MDES) purchased this unit, and 3 sister machines, from one of their long-standing accounts in the Portland Metro Area. These machines are in the original shop; although, the business has seen three (3) owners in 30+ years. The particular unit in this advertisement was last used to make parts in November-December 2022. This machine is an excellent runner and still holds a .0001" tolerance, according to the shop owner from whom I purchased. Two (2) of the machines have been sold, model numbers MC-4VA. One was a good runner, one was a parts machine. There are two (2) machines remaining from the original four (4) machines, model number MC-4VAE. One is a good runner, one is a parts machine. Both remaining machines can be put under power for inspection. One of the two machines that were sold was put under power for the buyer and programs were ran. The machine performed tool changes, spindle was ramped up to max rpm, and unit was moved in all three axes.
