Functionality Notes & History: Machine is under power at time of this writing; available for inspection. MD Equipment Services (MDES) sold this unit to the current owner 5 years ago. Has been utilized to run aluminum mold parts for an investment casting process. Machine was regularly used up until January 2025 when the mold work disappeared. No other work has been done on this machine. The tool change function does not orient correctly. The owner has been quoted around $1,500 to fix; he does not wish to pay this prior to selling the machine. Responsibility of Buyer to repair. Other than that one issue, machine has been a good runner. The owner changed the clips on the carousel after purchasing from MDES to accept the CT40 tooling used on his other machines. The machine tools I am selling with this machine are the original BT40 tools that came with the machine. The owner also installed a new screen on the CNC control when he purchased 5 years ago. Owner says Z is closer to 36" not 30" as in standard specs, extended Z-Axis.
