Functionality Notes & History: MD Equipment Services (MDES) purchased this mill from one of my regular accounts. Was connected to power when I reviewed prior to purchase and movement to my warehouse. My customer needed real estate for new equipment; no longer utilizing machining cell. I am going to power up this week and check for backlash and other parameters. I talked to the OEM. The next generation of controller is the KMX and RMX models; this machine can be upgraded to these controllers utilizing a 3-Axis conversion package. MDES can provide quotes. Machine is currently set up for CNC control in X- and Y-Axis; Z-Axis is scale only, readout on controller.
